Massimo Dutti Winter 2012

Massimo Dutti never stood out for his risky proposals even occasionally comes well innovate a little.

Despite the image that opens this post, the new lookbook December shows a more casual looks (not to mention that we are talking about Massimo Dutti) that take us away from the office and invite us to relax in the streets of the city. I have to say that I liked the result, so I invite you to know him!

The Casual Look

We begin with a look casual and simple that shows that there is much to warm the coconut to dress well: one coat 'three quarters' and some jeans that combine with a gray jersey on a t-shirt white base. Loafers brown leather and belt crossed in brown and blue.

Special mention deserves the Super travel bag Duffel that contrasts perfectly with the look. With respect to loafers without socks, you are going to carry well in winter who I know.

Coats, Jackets, Sweaters, Footwear and Accessories

But what I liked most of the look and that smells like best seller, is the coat reversible shown. If we turn the coat initial get another of the same color but with padded pockets. Theirs is to meet someone and turn to coat occasionally to dislodge some staff.

Blue and Brown are two colors that know how to live very well with the cold. Again, we return to the jeans in a composition which includes two Brown jackets of lather and some fur, sweaters of the same color to contrast.

Okay, I said that it was more casual than usual, but at least a set of costume should appear at Massimo Dutti. Which is proposed to us is a three-piece American/trousers of corduroy and wool vest to avoid losing temperature. If the mercury continues to drop, with a coat feathers you'll protect you from the cold.

If we talk about the good team before they are brown and blue. Let's add the green to form a winning trio. It is important that the tones are muted for success: brown for belt, watch and boots, green for pants and blue Chinos superior to everything (coat, shirt and sweater.

We finish with two very simple casual looks that once again shows that dressing well is not difficult. The jacket that we see on the left is also reversible and on this occasion, the padding is replaced by a nylon lining. An interesting resource for rainy days.

As every man has some jeans, you also need to have some Chinos in brown. Equally essential is to have sweaters V-neck or pea box in blue and gray. Timeless garments not go out of style.

Massimo Dutti relaxes slightly full of timeless classics with a few sets that lookcasual elegance nonexempt. The incursion of coats and jackets reversible is a sensible proposal that more than one knight will save you a headache to buy a warm garment.

Massimo Dutti also gets my vote. I would recommend people to stick to this look for winter. Very subtle yet classy.

Leave comments. Thankyou. :)

My Love Affair

Contrary to what the majority of people may think, women are very easy to please. You can make me happy with very small gestures, like getting me Ice-cream when I'm feeling blue for instance, and, yes, Ice-cream DOES make me happy. Another thing that makes me happy is shoes. I'm in love with shoes of all styles, colors and heal lengths, and only a small percentage of women are content with owning just a couple of pairs.

Shoes are a source of joy to me, regardless of my age or size. They a crucial part of the fashion statements we make and they help us express ourselves and articulate who we really are. Men may ask ‘Why shoes?’ The only logical respond I have for that is ‘Why power tools? Cars? Watches? Sports?’ It’s the same thing; each gender has its own way of manifesting itself, and I am capable of doing that through shoes.

The fact that shoes are not affected by weight gain is one of the reasons why they are very popular with women. More often than we’d like, we go shopping and feel that nothing looks good on us. Maybe it’s because we have gained some weight or for some mysterious reason we just think we look terrible in everything we try on, but shoes simply do not let us down in that department. There will always be a pair that will make us feel sexy, which is an unconscious aim we constantly strive for.

Shoes can effect how we carry ourselves and can effortlessly slim a thick leg. Heels force us to walk and sit with a straight back, contrary to flats, and they are incredibly flattering to our figures, and it is for this reason that we endure the pain of heels. According to studies, the average woman has approximately 30 pairs of shoes and women with shoe obsessions have 100 to 200 pairs.

My intimate relationship with shoes starts shortly after I learned to walk. When we slip on a pair of our mother's shoes, preferably high heels, instantly heightening our sense of what it means to be female. And then we grow up and get to be the same size as our mothers and our personality begins to assert itself with the first independent purchase of a pair of shoes. As adults, we ask shoes to be our representatives. At any given moment, they are indicators of our age, mood and desires.

So, yes, shoes can make a woman feel happy. You don’t need to feel guilty with every pair you purchase, just enjoy it. It’s stressful enough being a woman, the last thing we need is to deprive ourselves from the small pleasures that we have actually control over.

Fash-on

While strolling downtown, passerbys notice the many fashion displays in store windows. A mannequin is wearing a salmon-colored ruffled tank top with a high-waisted floral skirt. Another is wearing an over sized T-shirt with ankle-length leggings. A long necklace complements the shirt, along with a large ring and a waist-high belt. To some customers, it may appear that current trends belong with earlier decades. But in fact, the reality is that many styles have just come back in fashion.
In the 1980s, bright colors and excessive amounts of jewelry were popular fashions among both celebrities and ordinary citizens. Although known as “the time that fashion forgot,” stated by The Fashion Police, it seems to be the other way around: society cannot forget about those 1980 trends. For one, leggings have made a significant comeback. Worn with baggy sweatshirts and oversized T-shirts, shoppers are finding these loud, neon-colored leggings back in stores. They can also be worn under mini-dresses, skirts, and even shorts. Often worn with leggings, legwarmers had a revival as well. Also reoccurring are acid-wash jeans, drawing from the 80s punk scene. After falling out of style in the late 70s, high-waisted skirts and shorts made a noticeable reappearance in the past year. These skirts are worn just above the hip and fall several inches below mid thigh. The outfit is frequently completed with a ruffled top that extends all the way to the neckline. The patterns found on many of these skirts and dresses are floral prints, inspired by styles from the 70s and 80s. Long necklaces are also a particular trend of the past that has experienced resurgence. In the 1980s, exaggerated amounts of jewelry were worn. Today, the layered necklace look has reappeared, though it is not as extreme. Big hoop earrings and rings that extend across multiple fingers have also returned. Hairstyles such as the bob — originally from the 80s — have been reinstated in the fashion magazines. Celebrities such as Rihanna and Paris Hilton have helped repopularize this look. The scrunchies was another extremely popular item in the 1980s. Decorated with sequins and bright colors, it was used to sweep hair into a signature 80s-style side ponytail. These scrunchies, though not as prevalent as before, have begun to return to the Twenty-first Century. Platform shoes were everywhere in the late Twentieth Century. Although those have not made a mainstream comeback yet, pointy-toed stilettos have. Worn with skin-tight jeans, women throughout the country have adopted this comeback trend. The oversized look has also come back in style. From big sunglasses that cover nearly half of the wearer’s face, to giant purses that extend all the way down to the waist, oversized accessories have definitely given us a taste of the 80s.
For the past decade, stylists have been looking for that new and fresh look that all Americans crave. They searched for the perfect trend that they hoped would start a whole new fashion era. In reality, this was as simple as pulling out a magazine from the 1980s to mark the beginning of this comeback generation.
Okay, here's a thing. I am confident in saying that I don't only speak for myself when I say that as teenagers, we probably all hear that this is a time in our life that we are "discovering ourselves," or "finding who we want to be."
The truth is, as teenagers, we aren't really focusing on the long road ahead of us. Well, most of us anyways. We're all focused on what's happening NOW, and not what's going to be happening ten years from now. One of the things that many teenagers are obsessed with, or focused on, is appearances. To many, the word appearance simply means clothes or makeup, but your appearance is much more. Your appearance is how you hold yourself. How you act, and how much pride, dignity, or confidence you have.
As Coco Chanel once said,"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." Our appearance also has to do with our personal sense of style, because after all, that is how people who don't know us judge us, no matter what we like to believe. Fashion isn't all about wearing a pair of skin tight J Brand skinny jeans and a boyfriend blazer and saying, "This is what's hot right now." Fashion is about how you take what's happening in the fashion industry, and make it your own, and how you make it represent YOU. The hardest thing to do is to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to change who you are, and if you can do that then, well, you can do anything.
